BreastScreen SA’s resources for GPs

BreastScreen SA offers free breast screens to women aged over 40, especially 50 to 74, with no symptoms of breast cancer.

This section includes useful information for GPs and other health providers to learn about breast cancer screening, including eligibility and risk assessment:

You can also request printed resources for your practice or clinic, including posters, brochures, fact sheets and tear-off notepads.

BreastScreen SA’s mobile screening units travel to over 40 locations every 2 years.

In November, BreastScreen SA’s mobile screening units are visiting the following locations:

• Victor Harbor
• Osborne
• Kingscote
