As you may be aware, the Government has committed over $49 million for alcohol and other drug treatment services and support in Ceduna, Bundaberg-Hervey Bay (QLD) and East Kimberley and Goldfields (WA). These services will be co-designed in collaboration with the local community to ensure the support meets specific local needs. The funding will be provided to support alcohol and other drug treatment activities that complement existing services, addresses service delivery gaps, and aligns with the needs and expectations of the communities.
The Department of Health and Aged Care is pleased to advise that the release of the Grant Opportunity Guidelines Alcohol and Other Drug Treatment Services for the regions of Ceduna, Bundaberg-Hervey Bay, East Kimberley and the Goldfields opened on Monday 1 July 2024 on GrantsConnect. The Community Briefing is also available on the Australian Government’s Department of Health and Aged Care website.
The Grant opportunity is open for six weeks, closing on 12 August.
For those who are not already registered to Grants Connect – please refer to the guidance material for advice on how to access the Grant Opportunity Guidelines and associated documents.
