Wellbeing SA and the Department of Human Services (DHS) are working together to develop an evidence-informed response to addressing food insecurity in South Australia. This project explores alternative food system models that support equitable, culturally appropriate and dignified access to nutritious food and how they could apply in the South Australian context.
To progress this work, the Centre for Social Impact Flinders is facilitating this workshop to consult with stakeholders working in this area.
Non-government, government and community organisations from metropolitan and regional areas are invited to join the discussion at this online workshop.
This event is ‘round 2’ in a series of two participatory, facilitated workshops.
The first workshop "round 1" aimed to:
"Round 2" will be an opportunity to deliberate on the outputs of "round 1", and begin to propose how to take action to ensure secure food systems for communities experiencing food insecurity in South Australia.
