Relationships Australia South Australia (RASA) is hosting a healing camp for members of the Stolen Generations (taken from their families prior to 1975).
Running over 4 days, the purpose of the camp is to hold a safe, nurturing and nourishing space for participants to experience both traditional and western healing practices.
The location for the camp will be just south of metropolitan Adelaide. At this place, away from the distractions of daily life, attendees will have the opportunity to sit on Country, be still, and embrace the healing spirit.
Lead by senior Aboriginal Practice Managers at RASA in partnership with local Custodians to guide us with respect to lore and culture, we will create a culturally safe environment to support participants.
We would like to extend an invite to your staff, clients, participants, and associates who were removed from their family before 1975 to attend the camp.
There is no cost to attend the camp, food, accommodation, and transport is included and personal supports can be arranged where required to assist attendance.
