Face-to-face nurse network meeting

A breakfast network meeting will be trialed in Port Lincoln in December inviting practice nurses, community health nurses from the Local Health Networks (LHNs) and aged care nurses on Eyre Peninsula aiming to provide stronger relationships and better knowledge of services available.

Feedback provided from the remote nurse network meetings suggested a face-to-face meeting would support network opportunities, provision and exchange of information and a positive collaborative approach between Primary and Secondary care in the community to benefit the community. 

Attendance will be capped at 30, however the opportunity to attend online will be provided with invitations sent in November. The aim is to provide further face-to-face meetings in other regions.
