Adelaide PHN and Country SA PHN, in partnership, are recruiting up to five primary care practices located in the Whyalla and Port Augusta regions, to participate in a new pilot program.
The aim of this pilot is to equip the primary care workforce with strategies to recognise, respond to, and refer patients experiencing family, domestic and sexual violence (FDSV) and child sexual abuse (CSA).
This pilot program is aimed at general practices and Aboriginal Health Services, using a whole-of-practice approach. This means that all staff members within the practice — including GPs, nurses, as well as administrative and non-clinical staff — will be involved to ensure everyone in the primary care setting is equipped to support patients who have experienced FDSV.
What do practices get out of participating in the pilot?
Expressions of Interest (EOI) are open from Tuesday 1 April. For more information, or to apply, visit the Country SA PHN Commissioning webpage.
EOI applications close 11:59pm (ACST) Wednesday 23 April 2025.
