Head to Health Phone Service renamed Medicare Mental Health

New name - same service. Head to Health phone service will now be called Medicare Mental Health.

Only the name is changing. There will be no changes to the free, comprehensive and confidential services provided through the Medicare Mental Health phone service.

• Anyone in Country South Australia can call Medicare Mental Health on 1800 595 212 for free mental health and wellbeing support that is specific to your needs. 
• Whether you’re seeking help, looking for advice, or supporting someone you care about, our experienced staff are here to listen.
• We’ll create time and space to understand your needs and goals. We’ll connect you with the right support, whether that’s with one of our Medicare Mental Health services or from another free or low-cost mental health provider.
• Wherever you are, whatever you’re going through, we’re here to help. Our service is available nationwide.
• Medicare Mental Health is free. You do not need an appointment or referral to access this free service. 

No changes are required to referral processes for GPs and health professionals.
