At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Explain the importance of early detection and management of CKD
- Demonstrate the ability to stage CKD and assess for complications
- Define the goals for best management of Chronic Kidney Disease in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People to delay progression and prevent complications
- Identify the requirements for a practice base system to screen for chronic kidney disease in Torres Strait Islander and other high-risk patients.
