NASH SHA 2 Certificate Expiry

Is your NASH certificate expiring? It has been 2 years since we started moving Practices from NASH SHA 1 to SHA 2. NASH PKI certificates expire 2 years from the date of issue. It would be a good time to know when your certificate is expiring.

You can check the expiry date on the HI Service certificate tab in Health Professional Online Services (HPOS).

What is NASH?

Introduced in 2012, NASH is a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solution used to access digital health services such as:

  • Electronic prescribing
  • My Health Record
  • Secure messaging
  • HI Service

NASH is used by healthcare provider organisations and supporting organisations to:

  • authenticate and securely access digital health services.
  • digitally sign documents and other transactions.
  • encrypt health information for secure exchange.

Should you need support renewing or checking your NASH expiry please don’t hesitate to contact the Primary and Digital Health Team at support@countrysaphn.com.au.
