Practice Support project for regional and rural South Australia

Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA) is delighted to announce a practice support bundle for South Australia’s regional and rural pharmacists working in the Country SA PHN region.

Raymond Truong has commenced work with PSA as a practice support pharmacist dedicated to support pharmacist development and navigate pharmacy changes in the State. PSA will provide essential resources for pharmacists working in the Country SA PHN region to support continuous professional development and maintain currency of professional practice.

We will be contacting eligible pharmacists, members and non-members, to provide further information about how you will benefit from this project. We want to support you working and staying working in your regional or rural area, and in turn, knowing you are ahead of the changes happening in pharmacy practice in your area.

If you need support now, if you haven’t yet completed UTI or oral contraceptive training, if you haven’t started on your 40 CPD credits for this CPD year, we can tailor the support you need to practice. The PHN is supporting access to professional plus membership, the PSA Self Care program, digital APF26, further clinical training and more.

Remember you can always contact the PSA Pharmacist to Pharmacist Advice line for over-the-phone guidance from a senior pharmacist on technical, ethical and practice questions– specialised advice when you need it. Call between 8.30 am to 5 pm (AEDT) on 1300 369 772.

The SA Practice Support Pharmacist will be an additional, regional and rural SA specific support and is available on Thursdays and Fridays or via email.

Contact us via email [email protected] or [email protected] if you would like to get on board now.
