The Primary Care and Digital Health Support Team have recently been on the road visiting general practices in Port Augusta, Whyalla, Goolwa and Mount Compass. Quality Improvement support was provided, and Country SA PHN current activities were promoted including:
Primary Care and Digital Health Primary Care Officers Richard Pierce and new team member Katrina Coppock visited Mount Pleasant and Goolwa where they met with Practice Manager Sandy Merx and visited the newly opened Goolwa Medical Hub which is an extension of Goolwa Medical Centre. They have recruited two new GPs and will be operating a skin clinic from the new site.
