Recognising and Responding to Suicidal Ideation

Country SA PHN Newsletter June 2025

Over thirty participants, including community members, mental health workers, and people with lived experience, attended the Recognising and Responding to Suicidal Ideation awareness event in Port Lincoln facilitated by staff from Flinders University.

The workshop aimed to empower general practice staff and community volunteers in recognising and responding to suicidal ideation and distress in the community. Additional events were held in Whyalla and Elliston.

Thank you to all who attended these events, which were funded by Country SA PHN.
