Sexual assault, intimate partner violence and strangulation are sadly common occurrences in the community and are usually under reported by both the victims and first responders including health professionals.

This forum is for clinicians only and will be presented by Dr Suzi Pedler, Acting Medical Coordinator at Yarrow Place Rape and Sexual Assault Service.

This webinar will cover the medical and forensic priorities of responding to a disclosure of sexual assault, how to identify red flags for intimate partner violence and how to screen for, assess and manage a recent history of strangulation.
