For the first time this year the event will be beamed to rural SA doctors and interstate colleagues across Australia via a virtual registration. Join CrazySocks4Docs founder, Dr Geoff Toogood, along with Dr Tahnee Bridson, Founder of Hand-n-Hand Peer Support and other special guests on Friday 3rd June, 6.45am (ACST). Gather your practice team together, share some breakfast and link online to the event in Adelaide.
Dr Geoff Toogood is travelling to Adelaide where an event is hosted by Doctors’ Health SA and the local South Australian Salaried Medical Officers Association (SASMOA) and ASMOF (SA Branch), to raise funds for the CrazySocks4Docs Foundation. It is a breakfast that now has a local following where nearly 200 doctors come together dressed in brightly coloured outfits, enjoying some downtime with colleagues, and hear from special guests and expert panel.
Dr Toogood will be speaking along with Dr Tahnee Bridson who will be the special ‘fireside chat’ guest, sharing information about establishing the Hand-n-Hand Peer Support service and how it is has supported so many. This year’s panel is focussing on how work practices and workplaces impact on doctors' health and wellbeing. Opening discussions on how the panellists’ organisations are striving to improve and structure their workplaces and practices to support positive working environments. Along with an understanding of how toxic work environments are negatively impacting doctors and health teams.
Rural Practices can now hold their own breakfast, dress in bright socks and join in the online community through social media as well. All the information about guests, panel and registration are on this specially designed website - https://ampheat.com.au/event/crazysocks4docs-breakfast-2022/
