SA Health Clinical Prioritisation Criteria – Consultation Open

Consultation is now open for the newly developed Cardiology (Paediatric) Clinical Prioritisation Criteria (CPC).

The Cardiology (Paediatric) CPC can be accessed on the consultation page of the  CPC website. Feedback can be sent to [email protected] until Friday 19^th September 2025.

CPC are standardised, statewide referral guidelines designed to support safe and equitable access to public hospital outpatient clinics across South Australia. CPC provide clinicians and the public with clear information about necessary clinical information and investigations required for referrals to be accepted and triaged.

The CPC Website now includes 33 specialties, covering over 480 individual conditions. Gastroenterology (paediatric) and Breast and Endocrine Surgery (adult) are the two latest SA Health outpatient specialities with Clinical Prioritisation Criteria recently published on the SA Health internet. Additional specialties will be added as they are completed and endorsed.
