Council on the Ageing SA (COTA SA) is the peak organisation for all older South Australians that offers a diverse range of programs, activities and services. One of the key programs and successes is Strength for Life. Strength for Life is funded by Preventive Health SA.
Strength for Life provides older people with individually tailored and low-cost strength and fitness classes that are led by qualified instructors in more than 100 locations across metropolitan Adelaide, as well as regional areas.
COTA SA strives to ensure equity of access to Strength for Life and is working to increase participation of people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
To find your nearest Strength for Life session, visit the COTA SA website to browse provider locations or enter a post code or suburb name.
Below are links to English versions of the enrolment and other forms for prospective Strength for Life participants. A requirement for many people to join Strength for Life is a medical referral by a General Practitioner. Please note that referral forms require a General Practitioner’s signature.
