An effective and efficient health workforce underpins the objectives of primary health care to deliver the right care in the right place at the right time.
The right care, the right place, at the right time
Doctors’ Health provide specialised support for general practitioners, registrars and medical students in Country SA around the importance of managing and maintaining their own health and wellbeing. Rural doctors are also able to access a comprehensive check up via outreach visits conducted by Doctors’ Health and network at Rural Retreats and Healthy Doctors Dinners.
Delivery of accredited CPD education sessions and other education sessions to the rural Primary Health Care workforce.
Deliver healthy ageing workshops in a targeted regional area, both face to face and online for health professionals, aged care staff and the community.
Increase the capacity of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workforce in the Riverland area via formal Traineeship and Apprenticeship Pathways.
