Country SA PHN is seeking a new operator to run the Mount Gambier Medicare Urgent Care Clinic to ensure ongoing urgent care for the community.

Liquidators SV Partners have advised the Mount Gambier community that the Medicare Urgent Care Clinic has closed. SV Partners were appointed in January 2025 by the Federal Court of Australia and continued to operate the Medicare Urgent Care Clinic since that time.

Country SA PHN have been working collaboratively with SV Partners to ensure the Medicare Urgent Care Clinic continued providing urgent care to the community of Mount Gambier and surrounds.

Country SA PHN is disappointed SV Partners have been unable to secure an alternative service provider resulting in an unavoidable temporary closure.

Country SA PHN is immediately seeking a new commissioned service provider to ensure the future of a Medicare Urgent Care Clinic for the people of Mount Gambier and surrounds.

Country SA PHN is confident that a suitable provider will be secured as quickly as possible to give certainty to the local community that there will be a Medicare Urgent Care Clinic they can attend to receive urgent care.
