Message from the CEO

Well, winter is upon us with wet, windy, and woolly conditions setting in across country South Australia. For those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness winter weather adds even more significant challenges. Homeless Connect SA operates 24/7 to assist with emergency accommodation. Homeless Connect SA can be contacted on 1800 003 308 to help people seek warmth and stay safe this winter.

Expressions of interest for Telehealth Training
CDM Plus will be holding face-to-face workshops and webinars to cover content related to the use and set up of Telehealth services and After-Hours support. The face-to-face training includes full-day workshops that incorporate both theory and practical learning. Read more...

HealthPathways SA Update
HealthPathways SA has recently developed a number of pathways within the blood borne virus sector. These includes a pathway on the diagnosis and initial management of HIV as well as PrEP HIV pre-exposure management. The PEP pathway is also in development but is awaiting the finalisation of the national guidelines, being currently updated by ASHM. Also new to the portal are the Hepatitis C and Hepatitis B pathways. Read more...

RACF Digital Health Access Survey
Highlights of the project so far:

  • 100% engagement with RACFs.
  • Of the 114 RACF, 100 have participated in the assessment survey conducted. (88%)
  • Of the 270 individual surveys that were sent out, 255 have responded. (95%)
  • 80% of the responders have requested training.
  • 78% of responders have requested face to face training.
