We are a solo GP Practice seeking a General Practitioner to join our friendly team here at McRitchie Crescent Surgery in Whyalla, South Australia.
Whyalla is a coastal town located on the Eyre Peninsula and is a four-hour drive or a fifty-minute flight from Adelaide. Surrounded by beautiful beaches with opportunities for swimming, snorkelling, kayaking and fishing for snapper, Whyalla boasts an award-winning jetty, and is a World Heritage Site for the Giant Cuttlefish which visits yearly between May - July. Where the outback meets the sea, you can go running or cycle the mountain bike trails around Mount Laura. The scenic peaks and gorges of the Flinders Ranges are a short two hour drive up north.
Local GPs are supported by the Whyalla Hospital, which provides the local community with General Medical and Specialist Surgical Care, Anaesthetics, Cardiac, Obstetric and Neonatal services, and Chemotherapy and Renal Dialysis. The largest employer in town is the Steelworks factory, which has undergone a change in management and looks forward to a bright future.
We are currently looking for a full-time General Practitioner to join our busy practice. We are an AGPAL accredited bulk-billing practice providing high standards of healthcare. Our newly refurbished clinic offers brand new computer systems with all the latest modern medical technology, multiple consulting rooms, and access to an experienced practice nurse.
