Med CPD

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read about Med CPD!

My name is Dr Lars Paschburg and I am a SA trained GP with a passion for improving processes and finding new ways to support and improve the lives of those around me. I am a University of Adelaide graduate and have always wanted to be a GP since starting my medical career. Throughout my training I was lucky enough to get to spend almost 1.5 years of my degree rurally, spread across Port Pirie and Yankalilla. These placements have had a tremendous impact on how I practice medicine and approach life, and have truly opened my eyes to the skills and challenges that rural medicine brings. I have the utmost respect to those that service our rural communities and I hope that I and Med CPD can support you and your career.

Med CPD is a platform designed to make it easier for the medical community to access professional development. Med CPD exists to alleviate the frustration and struggles of finding high quality and relevant professional development content.  We know that these concerns are accentuated in the rural communities with accessibility, time and relevance being large barriers. The distance makes access difficult and with your time invested in your community, it can be hard to find time for your CPD especially when quality and relevance is still in question and may not acknowledge the unique challenges that you face.

Med CPD aims to support you and the health of your career by making medical CPD accessible, time efficient and relevant, so you can spend more time on what you want to do. Join Med CPD and allow us to help improve the health of our rural communities by supporting you, the medical professionals that look after them. We would love to hear your feedback and suggestions on how we could further support you and our rural communities through professional development.
