Country SA PHN recently attended ‘Embracing living, Embracing endings’ a Palliative Care and Compassionate Communities event on the Port Lincoln foreshore.
It was an opportunity to engage community in conversations about grief, dying, death and palliative care and provide information and resources.
Attending the event were representatives from SA Palliative care, Carers SA, Book Bazar, Positive Future Self, Eyre and Far North Local Health Network Palliative Care Service and Rotary provided a free BBQ. This is also linked with a series of monthly radio interviews and discussions and face to face sessions at the Port Lincoln Library on 4 different topics to support people with future planning.
