RUOkay Day Event was held on the Port Lincoln foreshore. The community event was organised by numerous local organisations at the Port Lincoln Yacht Club including West Coast Youth Community Service, Mentally Fit EP, Country and Outback Health, headspace, SA Carers, Positive Future Self, Centre Care and SAPOL. Country SA PHN funded COVID-19 vaccinations, coffees and pedal your own smoothies.
Country SA PHN will be funding a pop-up COVID Vaccination clinic at the South Australian Aboriginal Football and Netball Sport Carnival at Kilburn oval in Adelaide on Saturday 1 October and Sunday 2 October 2022. Vaccinations will be offered during the two-day carnival with free goodie bags to be provided for anyone who gets vaccinated. Free packets of antibacterial wipes are also being funded and provided to each sporting team to support safe practice.
Country SA PHN also funded vaccinations to players and community members at the carnival training at the Ramblers Footy oval at Murray Bridge the week leading up to the carnival.
