Suicide Prevention Reflection Bench

As a former Committee Member of Lincoln Alive Suicide Prevention group, Practice Support Officer Jane Cooper recently attended the launch of the Suicide Prevention Reflection Bench in Port Lincoln. Funded by Country SA PHN, Lincoln Alive engaged the Port Lincoln City Council, artist Karen Carr and Squashed Cocky to provide a space of reflection for the community to remember family and friends affected by suicide. Voluntary Assisted Dying Update

The implementation of Voluntary Assisted Dying in South Australia is well underway, with five working groups now established and developing the care pathways, clinical guidelines, community information, education and training requirements and pharmacy protocols. We are seeking feedback from health and medical practitioners across South Australia about their willingness and capacity to be involved in voluntary assisted dying in South Australia via an anonymous online survey.
